内容物

ゲームの準備

  1. カードをよくシャッフルし、山札を中央に置く。
  2. 山札の横にカードを3枚を公開し、現時点での手がかりとします。
  3. プレイヤーに手札として手がかりカードを配ります。枚数は人数に応じて変化します。：

  1. スタートプレイヤーを決めます。最近、UMAの情報を見かけた人です。（万一いなければじゃんけんでOK）
  2. スクープコマを中央に配置します。

ゲームの流れ

各プレイヤーは時計回りでターンを行います。

山札から1枚引いて1枚出す

UMAをスクープする（NOW!の宣言）

手がかりが公開された直後にだけ「NOW!」を宣言して、スクープコマを取ることができます。


注：同時に複数人が宣言した場合は、コマを一番早く取った人の宣言が有効です!

スクープの判定

宣言されたUMAについて、次のように判定します。

✅ 成功 手がかりカード4枚を表向きで自分の前に置き、得点とする。
❌ 失敗 宣言元の手がかりカード1枚を裏向きで自分の前に置き、減点とする。
  • 全プレイヤーは手札にあるその手がかりカードを公開する。
  • 公開された手がかりと手札をあわせて、同じUMAが4枚揃っていればスクープ成功!
  • 揃っていなければスクープ失敗!

ゲームの終了と勝敗

プレイヤー人数分のラウンドを行って、合計得点が最も高かったプレイヤーが勝利！

ラウンドの終了条件

合計3種類のUMAがスクープされるか、山札が尽きたらラウンド終了!

得点計算

  • 表向きの手がかりカード：1枚ごとに＋1点
    つまりスクープを成功させた回数x4点
  • 裏向きの手がかりカード：1枚ごとに −1点

English Rulebook

"UMA NOW!" is a set collection & deduction game where you aim to collect 4 of the same UMA cards!!
You are a journalist. Be the first to scoop the existence of the unidentified mysterious animal UMA and become a legendary witness!!

Components

  • Evidence card（nine different UMAs, 4 each, card size : 63mmx89mm）x36
  • Scoop token x1
  • Rulebook x1

Setup

  1. Shuffle the cards well and place the deck in the center.
  2. Reveal 3 evidence cards next to the deck at this point.

  1. Deal hands to players with evidence cards. The number varies depending on the number of players.
  2. Decide the starting player. The person who recently saw UMA information. If no one has, decide by rock-paper-scissors.
  3. Place the scoop token in the center.

Game Flow

Each player takes turns in clockwise order.

Draw and Discard

Declare "NOW!" to Scoop UMA

You can only declare "NOW!" and take the scoop token immediately after evidence is revealed.


Note: If multiple players declare simultaneously, the declaration of the person who takes the token first is valid!

Judging the Scoop

The declared UMA is judged as follows.

✅ Success Place 4 evidence cards face-up in front of you as points.
❌ Failure Place 1 evidence card from the declaration source face-down in front of you as a penalty.
  • All players reveal the evidence cards in their hands.
  • If there are 4 of the same UMA cards combined with the revealed evidence and hand cards, the scoop is successful!
  • If not, it is a scoop failure!

End of Game and Victory

After the number of rounds equal to the number of players, the player with the highest total score wins!

End of Round

The round ends when a total of 3 types of UMA have been scooped or the deck runs out!

Scoring

  • Each face-up card is worth +1 point.
    That is, 4 points for each successful scoop
  • Each face-down card is worth -1 point.
