Box
To match the circus theme and create a theatrical atmosphere, we used silver metallic paper for the box!
It was our first time using this manufacturer, so we had no idea how it would turn out, but the final product is about five times more dazzling in person than in the photos.
At first, we planned to use the glitter effect only in a few areas, but after seeing the sample, we realized the fully shimmering look was surprisingly cute, so we decided to remove the white ink layer.
And in the final production run, the sparkle became even more intense!
Wooden Tokens
Wooden score tokens used in the 30-second Speed Battle Mode and World Tour Mode.
Choose your favorite character and move across the board:
Rattle (Red), Piccolo (Purple), Bongo (Green), or Dombra (Blue).
Circus Board
The board is made from two layers of thick paperboard, with the top layer slightly thinner so tiles can be picked up more easily.
We initially experimented with magnetic tiles and steel sheets, but abandoned the idea because they were too heavy, shifted around too easily, and were difficult to remove.
World Tour Board
This board is used in World Tour Mode.
At the end of each turn, players move their token forward based on their score.
Passing certain spaces increases your troupe members, helping you build your circus as you aim for the Grand Finale!
Performer Tiles & Challenge Cards
There are 16 performer tiles in total across 4 different performer types.
Each tile contains multiple features, such as:
performance type, species, costume patterns, decorations, and more.
Even if a tile doesn’t fit the current challenge, it might become the perfect match for the next one!
Spotlight Cards
The stars of the game: die-cut spotlight cards!
By flipping and rotating the cards, players block unwanted holes and leave only the tiles that match the challenge conditions illuminated.
Once you get used to the game, try removing the two helper cards and take on the challenge with only four cards!
Emboss Finish
All paper components in this game feature an embossed finish.
We usually prefer matte finishes, but since this is a game where cards are handled frequently, we chose embossing because fingerprints and oil smudges are less noticeable even on dark colors.
Box Insert
As the number of components increases, storage design becomes a difficult balance because it affects both box size and assembly work.
To achieve both compactness and ease of access, we designed the box with a slightly tighter fit.
